The former owners used these to receive hotmix from 2 Bagela asphalt recyclers. They positioned the asphalt recycers on a wall above the hotboxes. The recyclers would discharge each batch of hotmix, into the hot box. They'd close the top doors. When a dump truck was ready to pickup, they open the front and top doors, the truck pulls in and scoops and loads the dump truck.
